Booked For Sakura Con 2009

I have not been to an anime convention in a long, long time.  The last one I went to was geez, um… Wow, I can’t even remember.  I think it was in Edmonton back when I was in my early 20′s.  (my how time flies, I feel old[er])  Anyway from what I remember it was an interesting & somewhat intimidating experience since I had gone alone.  I haven’t been to a con of any sort since.  My interest in anime had waned & I had no actual reason to show up to those kind of events anymore.

Well, until now… Because as I mentioned in a previous post last year, Hangry & Angry are going to be performing at Sakura Con 2009.  Since I’m going to be there to see them I figured I would write about that concert (& whatever other shows I attend) for those who are unable to make it out there.  I’d just like to note that I  haven’t covered any sort of live event (music or otherwise) since Spring of 2007 so I might be a bit rusty at getting all the details down but I’ll do my best to provide some unique insight into what happens on the day of the show.

So yeah, I’m looking forward to this event.  It’s the first of two conventions that I’ll be attending this year so hopefully it’ll be a blast like the people on the Sakura Con boards have stated it is.
