So if the reseller is an “official” partner he should be able to mark the sold tickets with the correct ID (in your case the passport name and number) or act as a surety/guaranty for the sold ticket.

Unless they are selling them with ID of the pre-owner on it and wish you good luck. I doubt I would by 200$ for ticket of that “quality”…

I’m still uneasy about the ID thing at Tokyo Dome. I don’t have many contacts in Japan and should the reseller tickets be checked I don’t really pass for a Japanese citizen and all I’ll really have for ID  is my passport which will instantly disqualify me if the checks are that stringent.

I’m hoping that maybe this rule will not be enforced since Tokyo Dome is about as huge as the football stadiums you speak of. If I fail at obtaining a ticket at least I have a backup plan of sorts.

H!P’s overall leadership goes to Shimizu Saki. While that may appear to just a badge of honor it also could be a turning point with the kids groups leading the way towards a (hopefully) brighter future for the entire project.

An regarding the ID-ing at the Tokyo Dome: This shouldn’t be a problem at all. The average premier league football stadium in Europe has a capacity of 65.000 – 75.000 seats, and everybody gets screened. The tickets for the big international competitions are usually bound to a single person. Checking the ID is the fastest part of the process. And it doesn’t take that long to pass through security. I doubt that the control at an idol concert will be as thorough as for a football match

School, integrating the new members, training new and “old” dances,  while forming a new (and hopefully long lasting) iteration of Morning Musume will probably leave not much time and energy for “social” experiments. I just hope they find a similar die-hard fan like Ikuta Erina. With Risa gone her enthusiasm as a fan will probably tone down a bit, so it would be nice to see someone crazy as her.  She can single-handedly turn a “home shopping” channel into something interesting:

The low average age of the group, which will be definitely kept low with the new auditions, also means no overseas activities for them in the foreseeable future.  Whether this means that the international fanbase will be given a low priority, we’ll see. This message was posted on Friday (two days ago) on their Facebook page. Either there was some miscommunication about exclusivity of the concert footage or it shows the tendency about the general appreciation of the international fanbase. Or Phil(ippe) and Fabrice are just busy taking Spanish classes… Who knows?

Luckily there are other group(s) within H!P, that are gaining momentum.  A bit of rivalry between the groups wouldn’t be bad at all.

And who get’s the H!P leadership? I know it’s nothing more than a badge or a honorary degree, but it could be a valuable marketing tool for Berryz Koubo.
