June 2010 Poll

First the results of the May 2010 poll. Last months question asked Should UFA skip anime conventions and promote their artists in the west in other ways?

Yes, they should seek out promoters who can work with them to create concert experiences similar to those in Japan. – 75%

No, the best they can do right now is to work with conventions because no one outside of anime fans would know their artists. – 13%

Other – 13%

- They should do both, concert and other

It looks like the majority want UFA to give us non-Japanese fans a real concert experience. Which would be awesome but at what cost? We’ve been pretty spoiled with the amount of fan interaction we get at the conventions so that may be something that would have to be given up in order to get a full stage show.

Although it’s possible that perhaps the fan service and true concert experience could be achieved.

This months question is pretty simple.

Me? I’m staying home. I really want to go to France but it’s not going to happen. How about you?
