  • Yes, without new members, but with better songs (I hope D: )

And now to the May 2010 poll:

Simple enough question I think & I believe that they should find other means to promote their artists in North America. Sticking to the convention circuit is nice but really limits the potential of what they can achieve in the rare events that an UFA artist comes over.

What do you think? This poll will be open until May 28 so feel free to think about it before placing a vote.

About Greg

Greg is the creator, administrator, editor, code monkey, overlord and general jack of all trades at Selective Hearing. He can be found lurking among the overseas Asian pop fandom and at most major conventions and events where a J-Pop/K-Pop act (or Gashicon) appears.

Although the cons give them some exposure, it’s mostly to those of us that already know/love them. It would be great to see them on an actuall tour across the country playing real concert venues. Another downside to the con experience is time constraints limit concert time and fan interactions. The one plus is that the cons have are that they is usually time for fan interaction events.

The lack of any real fan interaction if they were to skip cons would be a huge downside for both fans and the groups as we all kind of feed off the energy of those meetings. Which is something that I don’t think anything outside of cons can really provide. Even if sometimes the events are a little rushed or limited.

So possibly that would be a huge sacrifice to be made for the true concert experience. Knowing UFA I would guess that if they were to ever leave the con circuit there would be some sort of fan event to keep the masses happy.
