The radio preview of the second half of Morning Musume’s double a-sided 50th single was recently released on YouTube and it brings back a familiar sound normally reserved for Berryz Koubou releases. Disco Pop. Yes, you read that right.
It appears that this 50th single won’t be a complete stinker after all and will be similar to their 47th Kono Chikyū no Heiwa o Honki de Negatterun da yo! / Kare to Issho ni Omise ga Shitai! where both songs are equally strong.
This is probably much more accessible than the take on 90′s House that is One Two Three. I can see the general fan base liking this song a lot more just because it’s exactly what they expect of Hello! Project. Actually that speaks volumes about the current state of the fandom but I’m not going to open up that can of worms just yet.
Anyway, it sounds like we have a small glimmer of hope for the flasgship group after all. Well at least a fleeting one until the next single comes around & ruins it all. Hopefully the video for this isn’t crap.
