Morning Musume – Onna ga Medatte Naze Ikenai Remix

I take another dip into the Morning Musume catalog, this time taking on their 42nd single Onna ga Medatte Naze Ikenai. Rather than trying to explain what the original track sounds like you can read my review.

For my mix I took the track into club territory forgoing any of the squeaky leads and acoustic guitars in favor of  some softer and somewhat old school sounding leads and pads. As always these are layered on top of a funkier rhythm section and accompanied by a pumping deep bass line.

For some this may seem like a more drastic change in direction for the song, but H!P has long stopped doing official remixes of any of their singles so there’s really nothing to compare it to at this time.
