The AKB48 Sousenkyo museum has opened at Arts Chiyoda in Akihabara ahead of this weekend’s election event. The museum will run from June 3 – June 21, 2015 and contains displays of various items, artifacts and photographs from elections past.
There is also the opportunity to sit in front of past winners election photos for a picture. (Picture taken by staff member, customer must provide camera/cell phone)
Goods sold are all the election posters at 550 yen each and a general election sticker seal for 2100 yen.
The hours of the museum are as follows:
June 3 – June 8: 11 AM – 8 PM
June 9 – June 12: 11AM – 6PM
June 13 – June 20: 11AM – 8 PM
June 21: 11 AM – 7 PM
* Last admission for all dates is 30 minutes prior to closing
* You can stay at the museum up to 2 hours max.
