ANGERME to Hold Their First Overseas Performance in France


Hello! Project’s super idol group and a former Japan Record Award-The best new artist- winner, ANGERME will have their first overseas performance on June 3rd, 2018 (06/03/18) at La Cigar in Paris, France.

Starting off as S/mileage in 2010, they evolved into ANGERME in late 2014. They originally were made up of four former Hello-pro Egg members (Hello! Project trainees) who then became full Hello! Project members. In 2015, their single “Taiki Bansei / Otome no Gyakushuu” peaked #1 on the Oricon Daily Chart. As of now, there are 10 members in total.

Since then, ANGERME has been busy working on music performances, and working on individual projects. Ayaka Wada, the leader of ANGERME, commented about their first overseas tour.

This is our dream to perform in other countries. Many overseas fans sent us messages to come to their countries. We are happy to announce that we are going to see them!! We all so excited and look forward to meet all of the fans there.

Formed in April 2009 as S/mileage by former Hello! Project pro Egg members, their name was a combination of Smile and Age. In May of 2010 they won a Japan Record Award for Best New Artist. They changed their name in October 2014 to ANGERME which was a mix of the French words forAnge- Angel and Larme-Tears. Kana, the sub leader at the time, came up with the name. There are members of 10. June 3rd 2018 will mark their first performance overseas.

Tickets go on sale on January 31st, 2018 in Paris time. Doors open at 7:00 pm, show starts at 8:00 pm.
