Heroine ni Narou ka is the 25th single by Berryz Koubou and the fourth single from H!P this year. The song has a prettycatchy beat and probably isn’t the best they’ve done overall but I found it decent enough.
The distribution of the lines is probably the best attribute to this song. However, what I find interesting is something outside the realm of a normal Berryz single that hasn’t been obvious since Dakimashite Dakishimete and that is the dance aspect. I am not a big dance song person, however this catches me with its rhythm.
The b-side “Hero Arawaru” is average and as all b-sides for Berryz are but it at least has a good feel to it.
Berryz Koubou’s 25th single continues H!P’s early hot streak (as I predicted) and as Kuro has mentioned it is very much dance oriented but it isn’t that much different from what they’ve released before this song. Both Ryuusei Boy and Shining Power were also high energy dance tracks similar to the Dance Man productions from back in the day.
Heroine ni Narou Ka is as noted by Kuro much closer to Dakishimete Dakishimete and I like it. Of course it fits squarely within the kind of dance tracks I enjoy so that’s no surprise. Nothing wrong with a bit of Euro Beat inspired dance pop & much like C-ute, Berryz seem to bring their A-game with these kinds of songs.
This is really quite catchy and it does keep ones attention from beginning to end. As we mentioned previously the line distribution is very even and all members get equal time.
Overall, wonderful track. I dig.
