Last Piece is the lead single from GOT7’s fourth studio album, Breath of Love: Last Piece. Its original form is a straightforward R&B/Pop crossover with a hard dance break between the chorus and second verse and at the end of the song.
I decided to lean more towards the R&B side for my remix, opting to go with a laid back swing type of beat and a funkier bass line. I also made a quick edit between verses 1 and 2 as I felt the switch to a hard dance break before the second verse broke the song’s smooth flow a little too much for my liking.
The final result is something that brings a more relaxed type of vibe to the song.
