Raiden, one of South Korea’s most sought-after electronic dance producers, has released his first-ever original soundtrack, “In Ruin,” which features Nino Lucarelli for the new tvN drama “You Are My Spring.”
The lyrics were written by Nino Lucarelli, who also sang background vocals; the track was composed by Raiden, Nino Lucarelli, Nthonious, Meisobo and produced by Raiden. Raiden and Lucarelli were able to focus more on the intensity of their song while giving more emotive vocals behind it, thanks to continuous guitar playing and drum rhythms.
The duo intended to connect with their audience by portraying the flaws and challenges of life in their lyrics, which read, “We struggle, we fall, we get up again.”
You Are My Spring will air on tvN and has been confirmed for a total of 16 episodes that will be released bi-weekly also on Netflix, arriving on Mondays and Tuesdays. The show tells a story about a hotel concierge and a psychiatrist with traumatic childhoods who form a heartfelt bond when they become entangled in a perplexing local murder case.
This is my first time doing a track for a drama and something I’ve always wanted to do,” said Raiden. So when I read the story and got to meet the cast members, I instantly knew this would be the project to work on.
