October

Seulgi – 28 Reasons

Seulgi’s first solo album differs significantly from her work with Red Velvet and the Irene & Seulgi sub-unit. Some songs have a darker and heavier feeling, while others are more whimsical and playful. Those aspects of her solo music significantly separate her from her Red Velvet persona. Hopefully, it won’t be another eight years until she releases a follow-up.

Cyberjapan Dancers – Bad Love

Just by looking at the video for this song, there’s a blatantly obvious reason I chose this as a favourite for October. But if you take the lovely visuals away, the song itself isn’t bad. Sure the vocals aren’t the greatest, but the underlying dance groove is some catchy dance-pop.

LE SSERAFIM – ANTIFRAGILE

Following up on a debut album like FEARLESS is an arduous task. However, LE SSERAFIM has easily managed to equal their first effort with their second EP, ANTIFRAGILE.

tripleS – Generation

Acid Angel from Asia’s sub-unit tripleS dropped their debut EP Access at the end of October. The lead single, Generation, has a funky party song vibe. It’s perfect for those who enjoy the groovy sound that K-Pop girl groups are currently rocking.
