So Fresh, So Clean for 2016

It took hours of tweaking and testing into the wee hours of the morning but I have once again upgraded the site’s theme. This is nothing new as I have been known to refresh the look of this place every once in a while. It also shows that I do pay attention to feedback when y’all actually give it.

Anyway, this updated look is just in time for the site’s 10th anniversary next month. When looking at the layout I think of the new Google+ card design, but without the clusterfuck that is the mess of a display that is Google+. With that said I purposely chose a theme that emphasized images over text since we all like to look at pretty pictures right? And it also happens to look a bit nicer than the previous theme.

There’s also the fact that it’s got some customization for the front page that I won’t go into since no one cares about that nerdy background stuff other than design geeks.

I got rid of the sidebar ads since based on impression history no one actually clicks on them. Y’all are a bunch of thieving bastards according to current survey feedback. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. You gotta do what you gotta do to get your music fix right? So that sidebar space is now freed up for other yet to be determined items.

This will most likely be the way the site looks for the next little while until something more advanced or prettier with equal or greater features comes along to replace it.
