Expanding to Four Days for the First Time –
The World’s Largest Korean Culture Convention and Music Festival to Take Place August 15th Through 18th

KCON USA presented by Toyota, the world’s largest Korean culture convention and music festival, announced today that the first six artists to join the Los Angeles concert lineup are Stray Kids, MAMAMOO, MOMOLAND, ONEUS, ATEEZ and CHUNG HA. Concert tickets go on sale July 12th at 12:00pm PT while convention tickets (including add-on programs) go on-sale July 15th at 12:00pm PT.

KCON, which is held in both New York and Los Angeles, is an annual celebration of every aspect of Korean pop culture and provides fans the most access to the stars. This marks the first time that KCON LA will run for four full days to ensure the maximum amount of programming, fan engagements and everything that attendees expect from the yearly celebration of Korean pop culture.

The West Coast leg of the convention series will take place August 15th through the 18th at the Los Angeles Convention Center and Staples Center. KCON will run on July 6th and 7th at both the Javits Center and Madison Square Garden in New York, NY. Tickets are on sale now for KCON NY and KCON LA tickets will be available starting July 12th. KCON LA 2019 Stray Kids

Stray Kids is a 9-member boy group under JYP Entertainment formed through Mnet’s reality show, Stray Kids in 2017. The members are Bang Chan, Woojin, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, HAN, Felix, Seungmin and I.N. Prior to the premiere of Stray Kids, the group released a music video for its first single “Hellevator” in October 2017 and the single hit top five on iTunes K-pop chart in 12 countries. In January 2018, their pre-debut EP titled Mixtape ranked at number 2 on Gaon’s Album Chart and Billboard’s World Albums Chart.

On March 25, 2018, the group officially debuted with EP titled I am NOT with title track “District 9.” The group then released two more EPs named I am WHO and I am YOU in 2018. In 2019, Stray Kids kicked off a new era with their latest EP, Clé 1: MIROH and special album, Clé 2: Yellow Wood. As for 2018, they have won “New Artist of the Year (Group)” at Soribada Best K-Music Awards, “Best New Artist (Male)” at MBC Plus X Genie Music Awards, “Rookie of the Year (Music)” at AAA (Asia Artist Awards) and “Best New Artist (Male)” at MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards).

This year, they have already taken home awards such as “New Male Artist” in Korea First Brand Awards, “Rookie of the Year” at Golden Disk Awards, “New Artist” at Seoul Music Awards, “New Artist of the Year” at Gaon Chart Music Awards, “Next Leader” at U+5G The Fact Music Awards and “New Star Award” at Asia Model Awards.


MAMAMOO is a four-member girl group formed by RBW in 2014. The members are Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa. The group officially debuted with their first EP Hello and its lead single “Mr. Ambiguous” on June 19, 2014. Their debut was considered by some critics as one of the best K-Pop debuts of 2014. On November 21, MAMAMOO released their second EP Piano Man with the title track of the same name.

On April 2, 2015, MAMAMOO released “Ahh Oop!,” the first single of their third EP titled Pink Funky. On June 19, MAMAMOO released their third EP Pink Funky and lead single “Um Oh Ah Yeh,” which peaked at number three on the Gaon Chart, becoming their first top three single. The group’s fifth EP Purple, released on June 22, 2017, placed first in Billboard’s World Album Charts. On March 14, 2019, MAMAMOO released their ninth EP White Wind with its lead single “Gogobebe.”


MOMOLAND is a girl group formed by MLD Entertainment through Mnet’s survival program Finding Momoland in 2016. The winning members who became the 7 members of Momoland were Hyebin, Yeonwoo, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy and debuted with EP Welcome to Momoland on November 10, 2016. On April 10, 2017, they released first DS Wonderful Love and their second EP Freeze! with title track “Freeze.” on August 22, 2017.

The group saw a breakthrough after making a comeback with their third EP, Great!, which included title track “Bboom Bboom” on January 3, 2018. The single jumped to No. 4 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales, becoming the third-best-selling K-pop song in America in the last week of January. The group then released their fourth EP titled Fun to the World with lead single “Baam” in June 2018 and fifth EP titled Show Me with lead single “I’m So Hot” in March 2019.


ONEUS is boy group formed by RBW. The group consists of six members: RAVN, SEO HO, LEE DO, KEON HEE, HWAN WOONG and XION. SEO HO, KEON HEE and HWAN WOONG participated in the second season of Mnet’s survival program Produce 101 as RBW trainees during the first half of 2017, and RAVN and SEO HO participated as male trainees under RBW on YG’s survival show, Mix Nine, during the second half of 2017.

The group released their Debut Mini Album, LIGHT US, on January 9, 2019 with title “Valkyrie.” On May 29, 2019, the group made a comeback with Mini Album RAISE US. Members LEE DO and RAVN took part in writing the lyrics for the title “Twilight.”


ATEEZ, which stands for “A TEEnager Z,” is a boy group formed from KQ Entertainment. ATEEZ is composed of 8 members: Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho. The group debuted on October 24, 2018, with an EP Album called, . In which, consist of two title tracks called, “Treasure” and “Pirate King.” In fact, about three months after, on January 15, 2019, they released their second EP Album, , with the title track, “Say My Name”.

After the release of their second EP Album, ATEEZ announced their first world tour, “The Expedition Tour.” ATEEZ performed total of 15 shows throughout various venues in North America and Europe, where tickets were all sold out. ATEEZ then made their first appearance in the Billboard’s Social 50 chart on April 20, 2019. In addition, ATEEZ have also demonstrated new heights on the World Albums Chart with their second EP Album earlier this year as well. The group released their third EP Album, , on June 10, 2019 with another two title tracks,”WAVE” and “ILLUSION.”


CHUNG HA is a K-pop star who rose to prominence through Mnet’s reality girl group survival show Produce 101, where she was chosen as one of the top 11 contestants to debut in project girl group called I.O.I. After the fame of I.O.I’s title track “Dream Girls” in their first EP Chrysalis, CHUNG HA was also the main member of I.O.I’s unit group and known to arrange the choreography for title song “Whatta Man.” Following the project group’s career, CHUNG HA became one of South Korea’s most popular vocalists with her first EP Hands on Me in June 2017 featuring title track “Why Don’t You Know.”

The talented singer and dancer has since gone on to work on collaboration tracks with other Korean artists, and in January 2018, she released her second EP Offset with an electropop song called “Roller Coaster.” CHUNG HA was chosen as one of the “10 Best New K-Pop Acts in 2017” on Billboard and broadened her activities in 2018 with another EP Blooming Blue and title track “Love U.” On January 2, 2019, the singer released a popular single “Gotta Go” and brought CHUNG HA her first music program win.


KCON USA ( is the largest fan festival dedicated to every aspect of Korean pop culture (aka Hallyu). The convention and concert franchise launched in 2012, attracting more than 12,000 fans, and has grown each year, with 147,000 attendees for KCON events in New York and Los Angeles in 2018.
