Re: Momoiro Clover Z is a remix album released by Japanese DJ (and galaxias member) TeddyLoid. It includes his interpretations of the various songs released by Momoiro Clover Z.
Those who listen to Momoiro Clover Z’s music probably know that they have a rather unique and/or eclectic sound bed for their songs. In the hands of TeddyLoid Momoclo’s songs get an aggressive overhaul while still retaining that quality that makes their songs special.
The remixes that probably garner the most attention are the ones for Link Link, CONTRADICTON, GOUNN, BIONIC CHERRY and Yume no Ukiyo ni Saite Mina. Otherwise, try listening to the first half of the album since the majority of the more ear friendly mixes are there. The second half has a few more of the more adventurous takes on Momoclo which may or may not be as appealing.
Speaking of that, these remixes won’t be for everyone. Those who hold the original versions close to their hearts or dislike remixes in general should probably stay as far away from this album as possible.
If you are one who is more open minded then you should absolutely give this album a shot.
