Macross Delta is the latest entry in the long-running “Macross” franchise, which began with The Super Dimension Fortress Macross in 1982 and celebrated its 40th-anniversary last year. The Tactical Sound Unit Walküre, formed for Macross Delta, is a five-member vocal group that debuted in 2016 and has participated in live music concerts, festivals, and events.

Fans are invited to experience the excitement and spectacle of Walküre’s final live performance, culminating in the group’s desire to bring more and more music to their fans.

Walküre is:

Mikumo Δ JUNNA, Freyja Δ Minori Suzuki, Kaname Δ Kiyono Yasuno, Reina Δ Nao Toyama, Makina Δ Nozomi Nishida

Tatsuya Nishiwaki (Band Master, Keyboards), Yasuo Sano (Drums), BOH (Bass), Akitoshi Kuroda (Guitar), Kazuma Sotozono (Guitar), Kyoichi Shinozaki (Manipulator)

The Tactical Sound Unit Walküre has been performing in sold-out venues around Japan since 2016. In April of last year, the group’s live performance at Japan’s Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall attracted a record crowd of 38,000 attendees over two days — the largest in Macross’ history.

Their first album reached No. 1 on Billboard Japan’s weekly music chart and won numerous awards, including the Japan Gold Disc Award for Animation Album of the Year.

Taking the anime song world by storm, their fourth single, “Mirai wa Onna no tame ni aru,” became the first single for Walküre and the Macross franchise to reach No. 1 on the renowned Japanese Oricon weekly music chart.
