Pull Up is the title track from VIVIZ’s third EP, VarioUS. It has a funky throwback R&B/Pop sound reminiscent of a Jennifer Lopez song.
I went with a four-on-the-floor foundation similar to the original version for my remix. For the rest of the instrumentation, I was guided by feel and went where the groove took me. The final result isn’t as funky as the original but has a chill groove that helps make it stand out on its own.
