I’m Ready is the coupling track on Chung Ha’s EENIE MEENIE single. It’s an American-style prime-time dance floor filler with a dark edge.
I decided to take a more Euro dance-centric approach for my remix, adding synths with high-end pop to drive the chord progression. However, my version lacks the tension and urgency of the original. When I finished it, the composition had a different vibe.
But I did my best to at least keep some of that dark edge with some choice sound selection for some backing instruments.
