September was a busy month, so some regular posts got delayed to deal with real-life things. The backlog will be addressed this month now that obligations have been met, and I can get back to site business without distractions.
But there is nothing new to report for September content-wise.

I had nothing to attend in September, so there was no excitement about travel or other things to discuss or complain about.
Music
Remixes
I completed two remix projects in September for two HYBE-affiliated girl groups.
The first was for the fromis_9’s yearly excursion for sunlight out of the HYBE catacombs. Supersonic is a high-energy summer jam reminiscent of American freestyle music or Miami bass. It reminds us how good this group is when allowed to release music.
My remix has less of the original’s frenetic energy and more of a subdued feeling overall. Like the original, I played to the vocal strengths of fromis_9, constructing an instrumental that complements the vocals and is still danceable but also noticeably different from the original version.
The second was for LE SSERAFIM’s most recent release CRAZY. The song’s original version is minimal four-to-the-floor house music that sounds like something you would hear in a gay nightclub.
My interpretation of the song adds more movement in the rhythm section, a funkier bass line, and a different chord rhythm pattern to fill the in-between spaces.
So, while my remix doesn’t hammer you over the head with pounding beats, it does have a way of hitting differently and giving the song a new spin.
