Elle Teresa releases ‘Wifey’ video featuring late rapper Lil Keed and pioneering new hip-hop album ‘Sweet My Life.’
New-generation female rapper Elle Teresa has released ‘Sweet My Life,’ her first full album since transferring to major label avex entertainment.
Burning with wild enthusiasm and ephemeral charm, the songs contain magic only Elle Teresa could wield. While calling her album ‘Sweet My Life,’ Teresa sings lyrics like “Kuso mitaina my life” (“My lousy life”), marking her as a rapper who always keeps it real.
The album includes 11 songs, from major-label debut single’ bby girlll’ to the recent release ‘Wifey (Feat. Lil Keed)’.
The tracks were created in cities all over the world, from New York to Los Angeles, Atlanta and Paris, with acclaimed producers such as DaBaby, Future cohort Go Grizzly, Marii Beatz, London Jae, Pooh Beatz, Midas800, West Carter Music’s Bossman JP, and Never Child.
The album also includes ‘Wifey (Feat. Lil Keed)’, an exclusive collaboration with Atlanta rapper Lil Keed, who tragically passed away unexpectedly in May 2022. A music video for the song has now been released.
Comment from Elle Teresa
After a couple of cancelled trips, being able to shoot this video was a miracle. Just as I was counting my blessings that so many miracles had aligned, that’s when Keed passed away. Even now, being able to make a song and shoot a video together feels like a dream. It was a landmark moment in my life.
‘Wifey’ has become a viral hit collaboration, entering the Spotify Velocity Chart and top playlists worldwide.
