KCON Kicks Off Tomorrow With Special Performances, Fan Events, And Festival Experiences

KCON LA 2025, the world’s No.1 K-POP Fan and Artist Festival, officially begins tomorrow, bringing the biggest names in K-pop, the most exciting new artists, and unforgettable fan experiences to downtown Los Angeles for a three-day celebration of Korean music, fashion, beauty, food, and fandom. With the countdown nearly over, CJ ENM today revealed a final round of programming updates sure to get fans even more excited for this year’s epic event.

KCON has built a reputation for delivering exclusive stages and once-in-a-lifetime performances, and this year is no exception. Fans can look forward to a variety of special collaborations and iconic covers, including:

* A special performance by LEE YOUNGJI and ZEROBASEONE(ZB1)’s SUNG HAN BIN
* A duet between Roy Kim and ZB1’s KIM TAE RAE and ZB1’s SEOK MATTHEW and PARK GUN WOOK
* Rising artist izna will perform a fresh take on IZ*ONE’s hit “FIESTA” and also perform “Golden”
* YUQI and ZB1’s ZHANG HAO will team up to perform a special stage
* HxW (SEVENTEEN) will showcase “ECHO! (Prod. WOOZI)”
* The special , created to mark Mnet’s 30th anniversary, will feature standout cover stages including NOWZ performing Stray Kids’ “MANIAC,” JO1 covering SEVENTEEN’s “Fear,” MEOVV performing a reimagined version of Brown Eyed Girls’ “Abracadabra.“

In addition to the main performances, fans will also have the opportunity to engage with artists through exclusive events. Actor and singer YIM Siwan will hold a special fan meetup on August 1 at the X STAGE, giving attendees a rare chance to connect directly with the beloved star in an intimate setting. On top of that YIM and actor Byung Hun Lee will make special appearances on the M COUNTDOWN on the first day of KCON LA 2025, with Lee’s special opening.

The FESTIVAL GROUNDS, an essential part of the KCON experience, are returning with an expanded slate of activities and exhibits. FESTIVAL GROUNDS is where fans can experience the breadth of Korean pop culture in one dynamic space. The FESTIVAL GROUNDS also feature a vibrant PHOTO ZONE designed for capturing share-worthy moments. Attendees can explore curated K-content displays that showcase both K-movies and previews of the newest K-dramas, including Dear X and Law and The City. Brand activations, giveaways, food vendors, and more will be available throughout the weekend.

With just one day to go, fans are encouraged to finalize their plans, charge their phones, and prepare for a weekend filled with music, culture, and unforgettable memories.
