In last year’s year-end article, I said I wanted to post at least one original article a week. I kept that going until around Fall, when the posting pattern was interrupted.
This year, the most consistent content was the monthly recaps, followed by the remixes and DJ mixes. I noticed we only did a couple of podcasts this year. From what I see, we had KCON 2024 and the IU HEREH World Tour shows, and that was it. We’ll see if we have the time and something more to discuss in 2025.
Allen started a new series of articles about the video games the Selective Hearing staff is playing. We look forward to continuing to share our thoughts about what we play more consistently as we enter the new year.
My contributions are still mainly within the world of K-pop idols. However, some Japanese and English-language music has caught my attention. Not enough to write about it, but at least that variety is coming back into my listening rotation. While I may only get to some things promptly, I do my best to mention something worth your time.
I managed to squeeze in 34 music reviews this year. However, I want to get more content out, so I may have to rethink my posting schedule and the types of articles I want to publish. I may return to expanding my horizons instead of sticking with my more rigid comfort zone.
