Introduction
The 18th year of Selective Hearing quietly ends with this yearly article. I don’t know what to say other than this year, more than last, has been a test of patience.
Like last year, here at Selective Hearing, some ideas for articles have yet to be panned out. It’s not for lack of trying, but it’s becoming frustrating. Failure to reach specific goals again made me reflect on many things and how to turn things around in 2025. I don’t have the answers yet, but hopefully, I’ll figure it out as we head into year 19.
Besides hitting what feels like an impossible impasse, 2024 was not as dire as I make it sound. It was generally okay, with a few pleasant surprises.
With all that in mind, let’s look back at what happened at Selective Hearing in 2024.
