INTERNATIONAL SUPER GROUP THE LAST ROCKSTARS TO RELEASE THEIR FIRST SINGLE, “THE LAST ROCKSTARS (PARIS MIX),” ON DECEMBER 23
NEW MUSIC TO ROLL OUT THROUGH 2023
THE LAST ROCKSTARS, a newly formed outfit comprised of four of Japan’s biggest rock stars – YOSHIKI, HYDE, SUGIZO, and MIYAVI announced the release of their highly anticipated first single on Melodee Music, aptly titled “The Last Rockstars (Paris Mix),” on Friday, December 23.
The single will be distributed globally by Ingrooves Music Group to music streaming services. (Ingrooves is part of Virgin Music Group, the newly formed global independent music division of Universal Music Group.) Melodee is a next-generation platform connecting artists and creators with their fans.
This release marks the group’s first big new music rollout through 2023. A music video for the hard-hitting, alternative rock anthem is also scheduled to drop the same day.
The announcement comes on the heels of a worldwide live reveal on November 11 in Tokyo. The four international rock legends announced a series of “Live Debut” shows scheduled for early 2023 in Tokyo, New York, and Los Angeles.
The group recently added a second show at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom and is scheduled to play Los Angeles’ Hollywood Palladium in February 2023.

The idea to form THE LAST ROCKSTARS came together organically according to all members. Under the shared goal to “make the world rock,” the group has been actively collaborating on new music, with highly anticipated releases to come through 2023.
YOSHIKI said, “Because I was travelling worldwide, I finished recording in Paris remotely with the US and Japan. That’s why we call this the “Paris Mix .”When I composed this song, I imagined all 4 of us together. Let’s dance to this song.”
