Talk That Talk is the lead single from TWICE’s eleventh Korean EP BETWEEN 1&2. The original version is typical of the catchy dance-pop TWICE has been releasing over their past few albums with a bit of a retro twist.
I switched things up a little bit for my remix by modifying the bass line to add some funk feel. For the rhythm section, I decided not to have it be as aggressive as the original. Instead, I opted to be more subtle and keep that dance groove intact.
Otherwise, the harmonic and melodic elements are almost the same, with only minor changes made to fit the style of my remix.
