tripleS has quickly become my absolute favourite current K-pop girl group. Their songs, and especially their members, resonate with me. I was lucky to attend their Come True tour earlier this year in Houston, which was a great experience from start to finish. When their @% tour was announced and Vancouver was listed as the final stop, I immediately prepared to head west.

Like the Come True and other unit tours, not all 24 tripleS members were present. Only the eight members of the Alphie unit would perform on the @% tour:
- Yooyeon
- Nien
- Jiyeon
- Kotone
- Shion
- Lynn
- Chaewon
- Hayeon
For this tour, ticketing was managed by Ticketmaster. This immediately lowered my excitement, as I knew it would be a battle to secure a spot in the first two rows without overpaying, given Ticketmaster’s pricing strategies. For most groups, I would not try hard to be up close. However, wanting an experience equal to the Come True tour, I was forced to pay Ticketmaster’s exorbitant price.
In addition to tickets, benefits such as VIP access and photo opportunities were sold separately. Unlike last time, when Masterpass handled benefits, this time Modhaus managed them directly via their US online shop.
The purchasing process was smooth, with no technical issues like the previous tour, when Seoyeon’s photo ops were missing in most cities. Learning from past mistakes, I purchased at least one photo op for each Alphie member, plus two extras for my bias Yooyeon. I didn’t realize then that my spending for this event wasn’t over.
