Introduction
April was an active month for us, with plenty of events we attended in person or viewed online. For me, the day job was less chaotic as a new fiscal year began and the circle of life entered a renewal stage. That freed up more time for me to check off the growing list of items on the site planner.
Content
Outside of the monthly features, there wasn’t a lot of original content posted other than a review of EVERGLOW’s CODE EP shortly before their concert in Calgary.
Events
As I mentioned in the introduction, it was a month full of events. The first thing we covered was WrestleMania. Unlike in previous years, I wasn’t as excited for this show. The build for it was poor, and the execution (especially night one) was sub-par for what is supposed to be the grandest show in WWE’s PLE calendar.
If I paid the extortion-like ticket prices to be there in person, I would feel very ripped off.

Next up were a couple of K-Pop concerts that we attended in person. Allen went to the TWICE “This Is For” World Tour stop in Austin.

While I attended EVERGLOW’s 2026 World Tour [RE:CODE] stop in Calgary and secured an interview with them.

Conclusion
April is the real start of things actually being released and happening, in my opinion. It certainly kept me busy for the most part. My plans for May are to catch up on my backlog of music and see what is worth reviewing. I’ve given up being on the ball and would rather take my time absorbing things thoroughly before putting my thoughts into writing. If it means I’m a bit late to the party, so be it.
