Night 2 (April 20, 2025)

Singles Match?
Randy Orton (c) vs TBD
Allen:This is why they always have “Card Subject to Change” when you buy tickets. It really sucks that Kevin Owens is out with a neck injury, it’s serious enough for them to pull him off the card weeks in advance. However, this presents a lot of possibilities for Orton and his opponent. All signs point to Nick Aldis making his WWE in-ring debut at Wrestlemania, which would be cool. They could always plug in Solo Sikoa, a letdown but a safe pick. Either way, whoever they pick to take KO’s spot, Randy Orton will take another Mania win.
Greg: Aldis is the only choice that makes sense given the storyline context. But if WWE wants to bring back a familiar name like Rusev or Black, then I guess it would be a nice, cheap pop to get them back in this spot as a one-off. Regardless of who Randy Orton is facing, he’s coming out on top.
BigFreaky: Is Kevin really out? Guess we’ll see. But.. gotta go with Randy Orton on this one, regardless of who it is.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez (c) vs Bayley and Lyra Valkyria
Allen: Liv Morgan has been the MVP of the women’s division on the main roster all of last year, and now she and Raquel are having great tag matches. They needed someone to match up with and had to throw in Bayley and Lyra together. If this were Roxanne Perez in Lyra’s spot, I would have loved to have partners who hated each other to make the match unpredictable. Unfortunately, it’s not, and they will be warm bodies for Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez to retain as champions. Hopefully, Bayley will turn heel on Lyra; Bayley is much better when yelling at Michael Cole.
Greg: Oh. so neither of the women’s mid-card singles titles are being defended, and we get the belts no one cares about instead? Great. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez retain.
BigFreaky: How you gonna pick anyone over Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez?

Singles Match
AJ Styles vs Logan Paul
Allen: Probably the match I’m least interested in out of both nights. I hope they can pull off a great match with some cool spots because their plain face vs hated heel story isn’t doing anything. Logan Paul really doesn’t need the victory; he will always be a nuclear heat magnet. The Winner is AJ Styles.
Greg: Regardless of my opinion of Logan Paul, his matches are highly entertaining when he’s with the right opponent and given enough time to prepare. So now that he’s paired up with the phenomenal one, this could be a MOTN candidate for night two. Styles doesn’t need to win this match; it would be nice if he won, but no. Logan Paul for the win.
BigFreaky: I hate it here.

Fatal Four Way for WWE Intercontinental Championship
Bron Breakker (c) vs Penta vs Finn Bálor vs Dominik Mysterio
Allen: I hope for a crazy match with bodies flying everywhere. The good bet is having Penta win; however, as much as I love Penta, I don’t see it happening tonight. The Judgment Day storyline will get priority. I see Dominik Mysterio winning the title and pinning Bálor to do it. That way, Bron and Penta don’t take the pinfall. Have Pin Bálor continue to eat all the pins.
Greg: Dom Dom will become a champion at WrestleMania. Finally, he gets some redemption after suffering legalized child abuse (brought to you by Cinnamon Toast Crunch) at the hands of his deadbeat dad at a past Mania. As for the match itself? Bodies will be broken, and someone is gonna do something stupid, yet it will look cool as hell in execution. Dominik Mysterio.
BigFreaky: Bron gonna Breakk’ erryone. Bron Breakker.

Sin City Street Fight
Damian Priest vs Drew McIntyre
Allen: Priest has done almost nothing since leaving Judgement Day and moving to Smackdown. Drew has been an MVP like Liv Morgan for the past year, along with the men. He puts on great matches; you always want to hear him on the mic, and he never disappoints. I hope they go crazy all over the stadium to make their match stand out. My pick is Drew McIntyre.
Greg: My how the mighty have fallen. I like both of these guys, but they should be doing something more meaningful. This will be a standard brawl with weapons and stuff. A good opportunity to hit the facilities if you are there live or to use them if you are watching at home. I dunno, I’ll go with Damien Priest so that Drew has more epic meltdowns after.
BigFreaky: Damien Priest gonna win, cuz it doesn’t matter what happens to Drew. But Drew will get more mic time to complain, which will be great.

Triple Threat Match for the Women’s World Championship
Iyo Sky (c) vs Bianca Belair vs Rhea Ripley
Allen: This has a weird buildup as the Rhea and Bianca rivalry is being put over as the actual champ is an afterthought. However, we have seen Rhea and Bianca put on great matches, and their being a part of Iyo will make it all more interesting. They will most likely cancel each other out. Everyone loves Iyo Sky so I see her retaining the title. I want her to double stack pin them as Roman did to Edge and Daniel Bryan.
Greg: My heart says Iyo retains. My head says Bianca doesn’t get her Mania streak broken. I am prepared for disappointment, but please, Joshi gods, use your voodoo to help Iyo Sky.
BigFreaky: Neither Bianca nor Rhea gains anything by winning. Iyo Sky carrying all the Joshi load. That doesn’t sound right…

Undisputed WWE Championship
Cody Rhodes (c) vs John Cena
Allen: The big one. When John Cena went heel, it was great. However, it has been a tough buildup when he isn’t around. Cody has been the one hyping up the match for the most part. We must buy that Cena has sold his soul to win number 17, and Cody doesn’t have the superpowers that Super Cena does. I like the idea of a bunch of faces trying to dethrone Cena and get the championship back before he retires with it. While they line them up, Cody can come back and take his win back in the future. As far as Wrestlemania goes, John Cena will emerge as the victor and new champion. It’s LOLCena time in 2025.
Greg: Asshole John Cena is going to win #17. One final run with the belt before he drops it again later in the year. While I don’t expect the match to be “great,” it should be serviceable enough to close out the 24 hours of WrestleMania on a high note.
BigFreaky: My suspension of disbelief of John Cena being a heel is… zero. It will be a fun match, for sure. Guess we’ll see how heelish John can be. He’s gonna take that strap off Cody though. Summerslam is now two nights, and we need some big-ticket matches. Guess we go home sad?!
